In 1987, Mr. Rezaur Rahman Khan established Ali Mohammad & Sons with the dream to contribute to the economy of Bangladesh. Since its independence, Bangladesh has been experiencing robust economic growth which gained further momentum during the mid 80s. Mr. Khan with his vision and experience chose the agriculture and energy sector which were the most growing sectors.
Agriculture in Bangladesh with its lush plain land and favorable weather patterns was one of the major contributors to the GDP. To continue and sustain with this growth, there was a growing need for agricultural machineries including pumps, shallow diesel engines and other light engineering products. In addition, new generation of entrepreneurs entered the arena and was investing in the manufacturing sector. Around this time the Ready Made Garments sector gained its prominence before becoming the leading contributor to our GDP.
Mr. Khan with his experience and vision understood the potential in these sectors and thus Ali Mohammad & Sons was established. Today, with over 15 principals across North America, Europe, China and India - Ali Mohammad & Sons has established itself as a leading and reliable supplier of agricultural machinery and power solutions. The agricultural division offers solutions ranging from submersible pumps to shallow diesel engines.
The power solution division, which is one of our specialty areas, offers products ranging from small to large generators (both fuel based and gas based), solar power solutions, inverters for homes, offices and all range of manufacturing establishments. We offer products from world renowned manufacturers including Cummins, Stamford, Deutz, Volvo and Leroy Somer.
Our Proprietor:
Mr. Rezaur Rahman Khan was born on 19th August 1941 in Bikrampur District. The eldest among 4 brothers and 3 sisters, Mr. Khan completed his education in Bikrampur and Dhaka before moving onto fulfilling his entrepreneurship dreams.
Mr. Khan started his own commodity trading business in the late 70s with great success. During the mid 80s, Mr. Khan initiated to move to the agriculture and power sector and established Ali Mohammad and Sons in 1987.
Under the strong and dynamic leadership of Mr. Khan, Ali Mohammad & Sons has emerged as a leading and reliable solution provider especially in the power generation sector.
Happily married to Mrs. Halima Rahman, Mr. Rezaur Rahman Khan is the proud father of a Son and two daughters.

Mr. Rafiqur Rahman Khan was born on 20th July 1978 in Dhaka. He continued his education in Dhaka before moving to USA for his undergraduate degree. Then, Mr. Khan worked for Bank of America (Then MBNA America) and JP Morgan Chase & Company before coming back to Bangladesh in 2002 to join his family business.
With his innovative ideas and dedication, the organization has reached new heights. Mr. Khan introduced newer & more energy efficient range of products in the local market.
Married to Mrs. Rezia Rafiq Khan, Mr. Rafiqur Rahman Khan is the proud father of a son and a daughter.
