Aluro bvba was founded in 1969 by Frans De Roovere. The initial activity of ALURO was metal construction and engineering. This included the placement of metal structures for buildings as well as building machines in order to process aluminium.
Given the present substantial technical knowhow within ALURO, mainly in the field of mechanical applications, there were diverse and varied projects.
In the 90s, Aluro was often involved in designing and creating prototypes for various industries. (eg calf machine for the agricultural sector, patient lift for the medical sector, dispensing for pastry ...)
The close bond with the aluminium world, and the fact that the European Machinery Directive per sector is very different, ensured that ALURO started to focus on the aluminium sector.
The specialty of Aluro consists of designing and building machines in order to isolate aluminum profiles associated with the related activities such as providing training and technical advice on the workshop organization.
In order to accentuate the international impact of the ALUROLLER and BTM business, a partial division was the option.
Hereby the activity of engineering was retained within the existing company ALURO BVBA.
The other activities were created in other companies.
The overall service, Aluro Group Ltd., founded at the end of 2006, provides a professional and significant support to the development and growth of the related companies.
