Gasil holds the patent for clarification of sugar using ozone in replacement of sulfur, and the patent for clarifying sugar syrup through the use of ozone, with technologies used in sugar refineries and soft drinks manufacturers.

In the area of sugar and alcohol Gasil has technologies using Ozone and Electromagnetic Radiations for the treatment of sugarcane juice in the production of granulated sugar and production of ethanol. This technology has revolutionized the sugar and ethanol sector and raised the Brazilian Sugar status in terms of quality and competitive costs for the international market. Without the use of chemicals, such as: SULPHUR, ANTIFOULING, ALKALIZING CONDENSATE AND BACTERICIDAL ANTIBIOTIC.

The use of Ozone also allows the addition of vitamins to granulated sugar, raising the aggregate value of the product.

Moreover, the absence of sulfur in the sugar cane extract that supplies the fermentation for ethanol production has generated gains of more than 14 liters per ton of honey. Also, completely eliminates the use of antibiotics and antibacterial chemicals, allowing the plant to industrialize the PROTEIN originated from the yeast process WITHOUT RESIDUE OF ANTIBIOTICS.
Gasil has developed technology for wastewater treatment of various kinds without using chemicals. The ozone generators, together with a new technology developed by Gasil using nano catalysts, have eliminated the use of chemicals in many conventional treatments.
