Comar Instruments and the North American subsidiary Comar Optics Inc. are major suppliers of optical components to a large number of the worlds leading instrument manufacturers. We supply worldwide from large stocks of optics and opto-mechanics, and a major part of our business is in custom and bespoke optics for OEMs, research and universities etc.

Established in Cambridge, England, back in the 1970s Comar were the first company in the UK to supply optical components from stock. We have consistently grown year on year to the large company we are today by being a trusted, reliable supplier with wide product ranges, consistent high quality, clear specifications, competitive pricing and rapid, friendly service.

Comar operate from premises within the city of Cambridge which incorporate laboratories, workshops, sales offices and warehouse, and also have a significant presence in North America.

Although we have moved on from being a small, family-run business, the family still retain ownership and are very much involved in the company.
