Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) also known as Fiberglass, and glass reinforced plastic is a material composed of polyester, resin, reinforced with glass fibres. The material has both interior and exterior applications, and is used for roofs, columns, balustrade, entry way, fountains, sculpture, planters, etc.
GFRP weighs approximately 2-4.5 lbs per square foot. It has high durability to weight ratio making the product easy to transport and install while more resistant to most chemicals, environmental corrosion, abrasion, impact damage and freeze thaw cycles. The material is highly flexible and versatile which allows complex shapes to be created and replicate any material such as wood, stone, and concrete.
