Qingdao Jiekai Foods Co. ,Ltd is one South Korean-owned company that is specialized in producing & exporting fresh vegetables, IQF vegetables and pickles in China Qingdao. We focus on base cultivation, production and export sales.
Our company is 80 kilometers away from Qingdao harbour,60 kilometers away from Huangdao harbour,2 kilometers away from highway intersection, with convenient transportation, a suitable climate and an advantageous geological situation. It is located in a zone full of vegetable bases near Dagu River ,the mother river of Qingdao, which is rich in natural resources.
Established in 2003, our company now has fixed assets of more than 1.7 million U.S. dollars, 160 employees and annual export sales of more than 2 million U.S. dollars. We can supply 30 varieties of products covering three series ranging from fresh vegetables to processed vegetables, with an annual output of 50 thousand tons.
In early 2004, our company invested 420 thousand U.S. dollars to build a new modern factory of steel structure workshop facilities. The factory covers an area of 20 acres, including workshop area of nearly 1600 square meters and cold storage with the capacity of 5000 tons.
Through the production management standardization, since our company was formally put into production, we have been capable of complying with customers' ISO9000 and HACCP standard, and the supporting facilities of workshop management are well-appointed. In September 2004, our company passed BRC authentication and reached its highest standards, making our products allowed to enter the European market.
In order to meet international standards without pesticide residues during planting, our company has been developed to own 3000 acres planting base. In April 2004, 1000 acres of the base were through the EUREPGAP certification, and achieved uniform standards in the European supermarket requirements.
