Hunan Hengsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a modern hi-tech enterprise which was founded in September of 2001. Our company mainly produces Chinese patent medicine and covers an area of 82,050sqm with 30% greenery area.
Our fixed assets reach RMB368 million and the equity scale is RMB100 million. At present, we have 7 workshops passing GMP certificate. The production and sale of plant extract have passed KOF-K. Now we are planning to apply for EU and US FDA certificates. Our company set up a drug research and technology center covering 4,700sqm, with 57 researchers. The annual research cost comes to RMB15 million.
Our main products are freeze-dried powder for injection and extract of traditional Chinese medicine. We have 71 kinds of dosage forms. The annual production capacity of freeze-dried powder for injection will reach 300 million bottles after the expansion in 2013. We plan to make it as one of the largest bases of freeze-dried powder for injection. Our company also has the department of natural medicine, with a traditional Chinese medicine extract workshop covering 10,000sqm. The main products are diosmin, troxerutin, quercetin and ginkgo biloba extract. The annual production capacity will reach 10,000 tons. We plan to be the largest production base of diosmin extract, troxerutin extract and quercetin extract in the globe within 3-5 years.
