Chongqing Beiben Transmission Manufacturing Limited Corporation, under China North Industries Group Corporation, is the research and production base designated by our Group in terms of the transmissions on wheeled vehicles for military and civilian purposes, and also the holding company under Beiben Heavy Duty Truck Co., Ltd., Baotou, specializing in the production of light tracked armored vehicle transmissions, wheeled armored vehicle transmissions, heavy-duty automobile transmissions, large bus transmissions, actuators, power take-offs and so on.
Located in the Airport Industrial Park in Chongqing, our company is close to the North Railway Station and Jiangbei Airport, making the transportation quite convenient. Our company covers an area of 90000sqm, including a building area of 76400sqm. Our fixed assets are up to 300 million Yuan, with more than 700 employees and an annual production capacity of 30000 units of various types of transmissions.
In 1959, our company started the design and production of transmissions for armored vehicles. In 1980, we successfully developed China's first fully synchronous transmissions. In 1986, the German ZF technology was officially introduced, and our company was authorized by the Germany-based ZF for mass production in 1993. To meet the needs of various types of heavy vehicles and large passenger cars, the introduction of products is accompanied by the digestion and absorption of foreign advanced technologies. So far, 30 types of transmissions have been put into the market, with the gears respectively classified into 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 16, and the torque ranging from 550N.m to 2200N.m, plus a series of 7 actuator products with the torque ranging from 12000N.m to 30000N.m.
