First launched in 1993, China National Green Food Industrial Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Seed Group Corporation under the leadership of Industry Work Committee of the CPC. It has four wholly owned subsidiaries and four joint ventures under it. Relying on base construction of green and organic foods, the corporation expands actively the international marketing channels and increases continuously the imports and exports. Meanwhile, it also engages in perfecting the network and logistic system in domestic market. Export of organic and regular agricultural products is the preponderant traditional business and also the mail channel of generating foreign exchange for China Green Food Corporation. Its market covers East Asia, Middle East, Europe, North America and South America. Its products include legume, seeds, tea, vegetables and processed food. On one hand, the corporation reinforces its new business and new market such as the import and export of Wine, feed staff additive, seed, pesticide, electromechanical products and decoration materials, which is occupying more and more market shares. Since its founding, China National Green Food Industrial Corporation has actively organized the base construction and authentication for green and organic food to satisfy the requirement raised in international market. Thus far, it has established the planting and processing bases for green and organic foods in 19 provinces and 45 counties all over the country. Furthermore, it has passed attestation of China Green Food Development Center and some internationally authoritative organic food authentication organizations such as ECOCERT, BCS, JONA and OAT. It has the national largest organic food base and the biggest organic seeds processing factory. The organic product planting covers an area of 2. 6 million Mu. In response to market needs, the corporation adjusts accordingly the authenticated types and quantity each year. At present, the chief authenticated types include rice, soybean, kidney bean, seeds, vegetables, side crops, dried fruit and wild medicinal materials, etc. Moreover, the corporation is able to plant more types of products to meet customer requirement.
