With the great efforts for almost 20 years, HNAC was recommended as one of major units to draft national standards applied in the small and medium-sized hydropower automatic control system and pump station automation and informatization system. By the end of 2009, its products have been successfully operated by over 4000 users from all over China and 33 overseas countries worldwide, occupying the largest market share in China.
In June 2010, HNAC been nominated by International Center on Small Hydro Power (ICSHP), one of the member of UNIDO, to be the first and only hydropower control equipment manufacturing base in the world. It is scheduled to apply for the buildup of a national engineering technology center, a unique organization globally focusing on the small and medium-sized hydropower, water resources integrated information processing and automatic control system.
