In 1985, ZF introduced the complete set of long-distance transportation pipeline valve manufacturing know-how and equipment from Kitamura Valve Manufacturing Co. of Japan (KTM). Then ZF established KTM Ball Valve Manufacturing (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. and Alpha Max Actuator Manufacturing Co., Ltd. & Gereat Co., Ltd., totally three joint venture enterprises. In 2003, ZF supplied 2 inches ~ 32 inches high-powered pneumatic adjusting butterfly valves with metal-to-metal seals and pneumatic shut-down ball valves with metal-to-metal seals for Propylene Acrylic Project in Jilin Petrochemical Group; supplied 10 inches ~ 32 inches Pneumatic emergency shut-down ball valves for Jilin Petrochemical Ethylene Project; and supplied class 600LB, 10 inches~40 inches full weld body & forged ball valves with Gas Over Oil Actuator for Western Gas Easter Transportation Pipeline Project.
