They are about 500 different species in Mauritanian waters and we can supply many types of sea products (live lobsters), fresh fish (whole round or processed), frozen sea food (crustaceans, cephalopods and fish, whole round or processed) and dried fish mostly from Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal to any country in the world. .
We are deeply involved in Business Facilitation i.e. various activities linked to brokerage, intermediation, marketing & sales support, technical assistance and lobby.
At ProFortis, the word "PROfessional" means that that if something is worth taking care of it, it' s only worth doing it properly!

Our Industrial Fishing Department (IFD) is working as the marketing forefront of a 16 member association of local Mauritanian fishermen.
Getting fish from the sea to consumers plates safely and securely is one of the aims of EU food legislation, therefore all fresh, frozen and processed products that we offer are fully compliant to EU regulation.
With an in depth knowledge of the fishing sector, we also provide marketing services and technical assistance to prospects interested in activities related to fishing, with highlight on the Mauritanian and Moroccan halieutic resources.
We have two permanent liaison offices in West Africa, one in Mauritania and the other one in Morocco.
