VEI was founded in the early eighties as an engineering firm and at first we specialized in the design and construction of industrial furnaces and industrial plants.
Some time later and due to the increasing demand for second-hand industrial plants, the company founder Rainer Kaschke, who had worked as a designer at Brown Bovery as well as LOI Essen/Germany before, shifted the company's emphasis onto the purchase and sale of second-hand industrial furnaces.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the United Nations requested us to be of assistance for the education of inspectors.
Until now, these meetings took place two times and they were a particular challenge for us which we were very pleased to take up.
The number of participants shows that these meetings had a great meaning for the United Nations.
