Mr. JayaPrakash, proprietor and CEO of Prakash Cashew Company is a member of the gigantic business family MANGALATH, which controls more than 35% of the cashew industry in the state. Prakash Cashew Company started its operations in 1997 as a small cashew-processing unit and now it had grown into a huge establishment having several factories in Kerala, TamilNadu and Karnadaka states. The production capacity of the company today is more than 40 Tons per day. The implementation of modern machineries and techniques had helped the company to increase its production as well as the quality and presentation. Now the Company is undergoing a massive up-gradation process for ISO 9000:2000 and HACCP certification for the requirement of its International buyers.

Prakash Cashew Company is registered with FDA USA and Cashew Export Promotion Council of India. (CEPC). Prakash Cashew Company is also performing Raw Cashew Nut trade. The company procures around 750 MT of raw cashew nuts every year from Africa, India and South East Asia. Prakash Cashew's major exports are made to U.S, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Middle East countries, and Australia.
