Entrepreneurship Development for the Clusters of Handlooms at 20 Places across 13 states of India producing high quality products such as stolls, scarves, dress materials, sarees, home furnishing items. The Programme of the Development Commissioner-Ministry of Textiles has generated enough enthusiasm among the weavers community to get into direct marketing of products through the consortiums formed at the 20 clusters. EDI-Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is acting as National Resource Agency [NRA] for the above said clusters.
