Kapoor Overseas is the Group Company Kapoor & Kapoor Knit Export Private Limited formerly Kapoor & Kapoor Hosiery and needs no introduction in the domestic as well as Global market. The firm came into existence in the year 1954 with just two Hand Flat Machines when KAPOORS diversified the family traditional jeweler business and entered the hosiery business and that was humble beginning of an era in the knitting sector Today it is name worth reckoning not only in India but also globally in places like Europe USA & Australia
In 60s the reign of the firm was taken over by Mr Ashok Kapoor 1947 to 1999 and it was the master mind and great vision of Mr Ashok Kapoor behind the achievements of Kapoor & Kapoor In 70s Kapoor & Kapoor entered into global market and starting with initial exports worth Rs 60 lacs led to exports worth crores of rupees today Mr Ashok Kapoor was an able administrator and great entrepreneur having great vision towards the industry That was his initiatives that International Wool Secretariats The Wool Mark Company having its head office in London UK which is operating in more than 45 countries extended its Indian arm The Wool Club India an independent and autonomous body with Mr Ashok Kapoor as the founder General Secretary He also held the privilege of being the Chairman of Wool Club India which become an inspiring tool for the hosiery industry of North India specially Ludhiana He was a great philanthropist & social worker too
After the untimely demise of Mr Ashok Kapoor in the year 1999 Mr Rahul Kapoor vibrant & young son of Mr Ashok Kapoor is the torch bearer of Kapoor & Kapoor who have modernized the unit to meet international standards and are starving for the Kapoor & Kapoor to shine in the global scenario
Now Kapoor & Kapoor catering the needs of all top corporates of India & also exporting to different countries like USA France Spain Belgium Taiwan Korea Argentina Mexico Hungary Cyprus Australia Indonesia Singapore UK Etc
