M / s Kumar Enterprise is engaged in the business of movement of building materials such as Cement, Bricks, Sands, etc. from the places of the suppliers to the actual site of the construction activities being carried out. The firm has 22 trucks in its fold out of which 12 trucks are being in the name of the firm and the balance being taken on hire standing in the names of family / group. The firm books freight income. And they have now taken up the dealership of SAURASHTRA CEMENTS LTD where their monthly turnover is of around 3000MT of OPC.
The Promoters
Mr. Hasmukh J Ruparelia and Kumar H Ruparelia are at the helm of the business affairs of the firm. Having carried out successful banking career as senior official of Bank of Baroda Mr. H J Ruparelia felt of commencing his own business to live on the path laid by his family where everybody has been engaged in the business for last more than five decades. Mr. Kumar, his son is looking after the day-to-day business administration and sales realisation.
The original business of the promoters was supply of building materials. However, at times they felt handicapped and at the mercy of the private vehicle-owners and paid penalty / damages for delayed supply without their own fault. Having realized these shortcomings, they ventured into transport business, which gave them not only the smooth supply of the materials but also enhanced the sales volume besides making substantial savings on freight outgo. The freight income is directly / separately billed to the customers without affecting their main business of building material supplies.
