LSP SGT group of companies is in the business of Manufacturing, Refining and Trading of Vegetable Oils since 1940.
The Board of Directors is headed by its Chairman Mr. B. S. Krishnan having more than 50 years in operating and maintaining refineries.
The Chairman and his family and friends hold 76% of the paid up capital and the Balance is held by BRIDGEWAY GROUP, Dubai

Thereafter based on the advice of reputed consulting firm four strategic business unit (SBU) was formed. Namely SriSelvaganesh Traders, Olive Tree international, K. S. Speciality Fats pvt ltd, SGT Infrastructure.
The above has been done to take advantage of the incentives and tax excemption given for SME-small and medium mfg. Enterprises.
The directors have in depth knowledge in the fields of business adminstraion, Finance, government revenue service and law, Direct and Indirect taxes, Research and development in Edible and non edible oil technology.
The day to day management is done by professional directors under the guidance of the supervisory board.
Strong thrust is given to R& D where new products are developed keeping in mind health of people, energy conservation, process loss minimisation. It is well equipped and a pilot plant facility for trial is available.
The group manufacturing faclilities include state of the art two Continuous refinery with the capacity of 600 Mtons per day and 250 Mtons per day at different locations in Salem India.
Interesterification plant of 100 mtons per day.
All the plants are zero discharge and no discharge is let out.
A strong team of 100 Skilled workmen and 35 officers for accounts, marketing and statuatory function.
K. S. speciality fats mainly caters to the speciality fats produced from Vegetable oils for the baking in busciut and cakes, choclate manufacturing and ice cream fats.
