The company was established in the framework of self-sufficiency in paper and increase non-oil exports. Type of multiwall paper produced is regular, extensible multiwall (clupak), in addition, also produced lineboard. The location of factories located in industrial zone of Lhokseumawe, North Aceh.
The raw material used is pine wood (pine merkusii) who procured supported by the mastery of pine forest concessions in Central Aceh and Aceh forest Tenggara.Areal PT. Paper Kraft Aceh (Persero) there is in Central Aceh Regency is a land of raw material suppliers merkusii pine with huge potential. Location of forest with an area of approximately 70,000 ha. divided into 2 blocks. Block I consists of: Burni Telong, Baleg Rajawali, Lampahan, Bidin, Blangkuyu, with a total area of approximately 18,000 ha. and is 90 km from the factory. Block II consists of: Panarun, Gelampang, Uwaq, Isaq, Panton Jackfruit, Jamat. With a total area of approximately 52,000 ha. and is 160 km from the factory. Transport raw materials from logging sites and landfill to the plant carried by truck through a special path made by the company. Forest processing activities, carried out by exploiting workers who already have expertise and experience in the field of forestry.
