Established in 1963, Yamakawa Co., Ltd. designs, produces and sells all kinds of interior goods, such as slippers, sandals, mats and cushions. After designed in Japan and made in both China and India, our goods are sold not only to domestic companies but also worldwide through our trading company founded in China.
As for production, we produce 24 million pairs of our items in total every year: 10 million pairs of slippers, 3.5 million pairs of each sandals, mats, cushions and other interior goods. Our local subcontract factory in China and India enabled us to produce the wide range of products. The production in China has started in 1990, and in 2006 we expanded our production base to India too. We have over 10 subcontract factories in total which enable us to supply large quantity of items. As for the product quality, we have a very strict inspection and quality control because all of our products are made for Japanese market. Yamakawa also established a distribution center in China in 2008 in order for us to provide our clients safe products with the fast and smooth logistics network.
As for selling, our goods are sold worldwide. Our products are successful sell in Japanese home improvement stores, supermarkets, drug stores and so on, and our annual revenue was US$ 37 million in 2011. Since we have branches all over Japan to provide products from the south Okinawa to north Hokkaido, we are able to respond our customer's demand very quickly.
Yamakawa also offers you OEM service with a variety of designs and sizes.
