Dai-ichi electronics started off its business in 1974 as a loudspeaker driver manufacturer. Today, dai-ichi has become one of the largest malaysian reputable manufacturers of loudspeaker systems.

Located strategically in bakar arang industrial estate in sungai petani, kedah, Malaysia, our company is linked to the nearest renowned Penang port by the north-south highway which takes only 20 minutes by truck. Our company's manufacturing plant measures up to 30,000 square meter and we currently employ a workforce of 300. The company has the capacity to produce an average of 1.5 million pieces of speaker drivers and 600,000 sets of speaker systems per month.

Our service

Dai-ichi specializes in designing and manufacturing a wide range of loudspeaker drivers and speaker systems for various applications in hi-fi systems, home theatre systems, automobile, multimedia, telecommunication systems and public address systems. The company is currently serving many worldwide multinational corporations.

Depending on designs and customer's preferences, the speaker cabinets could be made from chipboard or particle board, medium density fiber (mdf) board, solid wood, plywood, aluminum die cast and plastic.

We have our own in-house industrial styling design team that works closely with our R&D team. From designing outlook/appearance for the products to packaging, we can provide a complete end-to-end solution for our customers.

We have a very strong dedicated R&D team working around the clock to continuously design and develop new products. Having over 20 years of experience in the field, we are capable of meeting any customer's demands and challenges in the development. Regardless of whether the products are targetted for low-cost mass consumer market or high-end, low volume niche market, we are able to meet our customers' requirements, providing them the most economical and viable yet high quality products.

Piano lacquer finishing facility

Our company is equipped with high-end spraying and polishing facility which is capable of producing high-end quality finished wood cabinets. We are capable of producing high-gloss piano lacquer finished wood cabinets as well as matte finished.

Our equipment includes advanced dust-free spray rooms with multi-layered air filtered and state-of-the-art polishing machines for gloss finish.

We have highly trained multi-skill craftsmanship workers who are to build and hand finish various types of high-end delicate wood cabinets. The wood cabinets can be either hand laminated with real wood veneer or be sprayed on different colour coats.
