Activated carbon is the generic term used to describe carbonaceous adsorbents processed from wood, coal and shells of coconuts or palms.
Depending on the raw material as well as the carbonising and activation technique used in its production, a wide variety or grades of activated carbon with different chraracteristics can be produced; and selectively applied in liquid and gaseous phase filtration/adsorption purposes, such as:
-Waste, domestic and potable water treatment or purification
-Air pollution control, conditioned-air filtration, gas/vapour purification
-Deodorisation and decolourisation.
-Gold recovery process
-Petrochemical, pharmaceutical processes
-Foods/beverages/edible oils purification
We utilise Steam Activation process on palm-shell charcoal in horizontal rotary kiln with heat-recovery features that enables:
-Uniform activation producing fine pore structures in the finished products
-Low energy cost in the production process
Professional and stringent internal quality control ensures uniform and consistent quality and grading of our products.
-Granulated palm-shell activated carbon, untreated and acid-washed
-Powdered palm-shell activated carbon
-Palm-shell charcoal.
