Originally, back in the 50s, Sarawak laksa paste was "invented" by Barrett's late father, Mr. Tan Yong Him at the old St. Joseph's Secondary School canteen.Barrett's Sarawak laksa paste is fairly new in the market. It is made using the traditional method and based on the original recipe of his late father, Mr.Tan Yong Him. It is improved and enhanced using good quality spices and top grade ingredients.Barrett's laksa paste comes in 300gm & 600gm packets and also 600gm plastic jars.Barrett's laksa paste can be used for stir-frying meat, vegetables and also used as a marinade for BBQ meat.Apart from laksa paste, Barrett's also produced ready-to-eat sambal belacan paste in 200gm plastic jars.
