Amsar was the 1st manufacturer of Ayurvedic products in India to standardize the procedure of plant extraction. In 1996, Amsar was awarded the National Award for Excellence in solid extracts. The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has recognized and appointed Amsar as a consultant to train it's members in the manufacturing, R& D and analysis of herbal extracts.
Amsar is the only private R& D laboratory in India with approval in the field of Ayurvedic herbs. Every batch of herbs is subjected to rigorous tests ranging from High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) , Spectrophotometery, Solubility & Chemical, Heavy Metal and Microbial Analysis.
Amsar is also India's first GMP certified factory. Recently, Amsar became the only manufacturer in India with two GMP certificates-one for botanical extracts and another for Pharmacopoeia extracts. Amsar is also awarded with Organic Certification (NOP & USDA Organic) recently.
