FEDERAL PACKAGES (FP) is the one of the leading paper packaging manufacturer in the state of Penang, Malaysia. It was incorporated on March 19, 1973 and operated at Simpang Ampat, Seberang Prai Selatan, occupying an area of 18 acres. As a subsidiary of MUDA HOLDINGS BHD, a group with upstream operations in paper mills and down stream operation in paper converting, we place strong emphasis in providing environmentally friendly packaging materials.
The company traditionally engages in the manufacturing of corrugated fibre board, boxes, paper cushioning, paper pallets, multi-wall paper bags and a whole range of paper packaging products. They are used for packaging computer parts, food and beverages, electronics, electrical components, and textiles for local and overseas market. Realizing the change of customers' needs for outsourcing of products and services, we had formed strategic alliances with other packaging materials suppliers in
Plastic, foam, offset printing, and packaging designing.

Our customer needs. We received the ISO 9002 certification in August 1996 (Re-certified to ISO 9001 / 2000 in August 2002) . Fp is thus one of the first corrugated fibre boxes plants in Malaysia to achieve the ISO Standard. In February 1998, FP again successfully navigated its operations to achieve the much-coveted MS ISO 14001 certification by SIRIM, an accolade of commitment to our environment, quality and excellence that is recognized internationally. Again, FP is not only be the first corrugated fibre boxes and multi-wall paper bags plant in Malaysia to achieve MS ISO 14001 but also the first corrugated fibre boxes and multi-wall paper bags plant to achieve OSHAS 18001 in November 2002. In addition, we also received the Malaysia Book of Records in November, 2002; and RosettaNet Partnership in June, 2004.
