Myanma Paper and Chemical Industries (MPCI) is a state owned enterprise manufacturing various grades of bamboo pulp, writing and printing paper, kraft sack paper, folding box paper, tissue paper, oxygen (industrial, medical, high flying), nitrogen (gas, liquid), dissolved acetylene, hydrogen peroxide, various paints, liquid detergents, detergent powder, scouring powder and safety matches. We require raw materials such as caustic soda, anthraquinone, carbide, and chemical reagents of analytical grades (for QC and Research).
It was previously named as Paper and Chemical Industries Corporation (PCIC). In 1989, the name was changed to the current name MPCI running under the umbrella of the Ministry of Industry (1).
