AXOS Commodities B. V. Headquartered in the Netherlands is the commodity trader of the group. Core activity is the international trade with chemicals, which includes the complete range of this specialized business; petrochemical raw materials, solvents, polymers, industrial chemicals, intermediates, specialities, and pharmaceutical substances. The Petroleum Division handles mineral oil products like LPG, naphtha, gasoline, middle destillates and heavy residues, mainly within the geographical triangle Europe - Russia - Middle East. An own division is active in metals, mainly alloys for the iron and steel industry and nonferrous metals. Long-dated business relations with the big metallurgical combines in Russia and the Ukraine form the basis for our steel business. Still under setup is the natural stone division, targeting the import of crude and finished natural stone to Europe, as well as establishing joint-venture projects for processing and manufacturing in suitable regions.
