We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the largest manufacturers of auto filters in Pakistan for the last over 45 years. These filters are made from imported raw material obtained from world renowned sources. We market our manufactured auto filters under the brand name guard, which covers a vast range and variety of filters.

The spare parts business was started in 1950 by mr. Muhammed shafi malik under the name of malik auto store. A vacum existed, so the business flourished due to the hard work and courteous dealing of the propriter. Later on his elder son mr. Iftikhar ali malik joined him. To attain the objective mr. Iftikhar ali malik, previously trading in auto parts, also founed malik auto industries in 1960 to manufacture filters. The word "agricultural was added later to the name of company to include the manufacture autofilters for tractors and other agricultural machinery and it was registered as a private limited company. Malik auto & agricultural industries (pvt) ltd, thus became the pioneer industry in manufacturing autofilters in Pakistan with mr. Muhammad shafi malik as its first chirman and mr. Iftikhar ali malik as the managing director.

The guard name was selected because its literal meaning provides the buyers with an impression that they are actually using guard filters to guard their vehicle engines. It is our proud privilege to state that besides meeting market demand we make supplies of auto filters to assemblers of various vehicles to be used as OEM parts. These include cuore, daihatsu, fiat, ford, honda, hyundai, massey ferguson, suzuki, and toyota. Our share in Pakistan market is over 80%. The brand name guard is here known as symbol of quality. We have complete in-house engineering facilities under the professional guidance of qualified engineers. Our certification under ISO 9001- 2000 & amply speaks of our quality standards.
