Vita Pakistan is manufacturers of processed food and dairy products. Vita product range varies from bakery to dry milk powder, long life liquid dairy product such as UHT (white) milk, cream, flavored milk in Tetra Pak in 200ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml, beverage in different fruit flavors; fruit juices is available in Tetra Pak, 200ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml we also produce juices in PET bottles in 250ml, 330ml, 500ml, 600ml, 1 liter, 1. 5 liters, 2 liters and 5 liters. In bottled water our range is 500ml, 600ml, 1 liter, 1. 5 liters, 6 liters and 19 liter (HOD bottles) . Vita also produce fried & extruded snacks, pasta, breakfast cereal, breakfast bakery products, baby cereal, biscuits & cookies, wafers, candies, sweets & toffee. We also produce full cream milk powder, skimmed milk powder and vegetable fat milk powder in 25 KG poly lined paper sacks packing. Our product range is over 140 items. Our group is in business since 1948 and we are in food manufacturing since business since 1978. We also import tea for blending and selling into Pakistan. We currently own and operate 14 production units with an annual turnover of Euro 45. 0 million. Our production units are certified for food safety standards; all our products are manufactured under strict compliance to all the relevant food safety standards laid down under codex and ISO 22000 and our product quality meet UK, US & EU legislation and food safety standards. Under our corporate social responsibility we are supporting various agencies and organizations by offering / producing micronutrient fortified biscuits for various school feeding programs; approx. 450, 000 children are being administrated these high energy specially designed products-45% are girls of age between 5-12 years. In near future (May-2008) we will be starting production of nutritional food for the people living in ultra poverty such as low cost baby cereal for young children and nutritional / therapeutic food for people who are sick or need special care (HIV / AIDS patients) and disease-targeted nutrition to alleviate symptoms or delay the progression of disease with the support of R& D from Rennes University, France (INRA and Agro campus) and National Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, PakistanVita production capacity in liquid milk and juices is 45. 0 million liters in Tetra Pak per annum and another 40. 0 million liters in PET & PS cup per annum. On the processed food side we can process, produce and pack 140 metric tons per day thus our annual production is around 50, 000 metric tons. With the commercial operation of new plant our capacity would be doubled. With this increased capacity we would be able to export more food products at very competitive prices. Importing product from Pakistan would also be very cost effective due to low freight and handling charges at port of shipment.
