Lailai Construction Limited is a 100% National owned company incorporated under the new Companies Act 1997 (Company number 135494) on the 14th September 1999. Lailai officially commenced trading in the middle of June 2000. The company was originally established as an alternate Sand & Gravel supplier in to the ever-expanding marketing with already two well-established companies in the similar line of business. Over the years our strong management and marketing strategy worked quite favorable with the redundancy and subsequent elimination of the 2nd competitor. This had prompted us to expand on our range of products and diversify in response to such market conditions. With the dominance and monopoly by the leading competitor we have measured his strengths as in the road construction and supplying of concrete and building supplies. Such diversification has enable rapid sales on his quarry products.In response to this market analysis Lailai Construction is now refocused on the fundamental of the Business in anticipation that we diversify on our product line and most importantly expand on other construction activities. This includes strategically located ten (10) kilometers out of the city of Port Moresby. Though linked to some of the suppliers, we still retain the quality and focus of a newly established and medium sized organization thereby offering a personalized level of service well above those benchmarked by the others in the country. And most importantly we can tailor to meet the companys individual requirements whilst providing some of the most competitive rates available.Since inception we have undertaken over K4, 000,000.00 worth of contract that has been completed to satisfaction. We are therefore, confident of moving from small to medium to large market and compete with others in the similar business. Some of our project completed to date includes civil works to 3x multi-storey Buildings and number of medium size sub-division jobs in the Port Moresby.More recently, our presence in the Sepik Provinces had driven us to diversify into the Agricultural Sector. We commenced buying and exporting of Vanilla beans on May 2004 after the collapse of the Vanilla prices in PNG. The inevitable had us streamlined onto Forestry and artifacts which forms part of our new line of business as reflected on our structure.
