CLINIC company was established in 1997. The establishment of the company was strictly connected with the growing influence of Western trends and culture in Poland. Poor availability of goods and problems with their import to Poland were the impulse to produce similar goods on the local market. In 1997 two young residents of Wroclaw, closely connected with skate-hip-hop subculture, had an idea of tailoring trousers modeled after current trends of foreign producers. . Their primary goal was to fulfill their own expectations and they owned only one sewing machine by means of which they created the first model setting the beginning of Clinic company history.
First models of trousers were distributed among their friends with whom they were skateboarding and participating in creating hip-hop music culture. This was performed promotion and brilliant method of presenting their ideas on the market of Wroclaw. Trousers model appeared to be extremely successful as far as peoples reception is concerned, because they were a novelty and represented uniqueness on the outfit market. They were satisfying the demand on the market. Positive reception of this product made the creators increase their production and widen the range of products. Since the very beginning of the company existence and owing to personal imput and engagement of its owners in this segment of the market, company products were very successful and desired. Aided by their colleague sportsman and musicians, whom we can call leaders now. the brand was promoted not only in the area of Wroclaw but in the whole Poland.
The achieved position on the market and relations with other outfit manufacturers allowed for the incraese of the company's own brand shops which apart from the Clinic company attire, offer the assortment of competitive brands of skate-hip-hop and street wear.
