Truffles at Transylvanian Mushrooms are collected by our experienced hunters, harvesting only mature, well developed fruiting bodies, both in size and smell. After harvest, truffles are inspected, cleaned, packed by our experienced staff and delivered to your doorstep in the shortest time possible to ensure the highest quality possible.
While we collect most of our truffles ourselves we put serious effort in specialized education programs, in order to engage local people in the hunting of these precious fruits of the land, in a way to ensure long time harvest and sustainability of the truffle species. As these lands are still largely unexploited, we are continuously working to expand our activity in the region, and maintain our leading position on the market
