Historically, Rice is the first commodity traded by Setar Holdings (Pty) Ltd, and having established partnerships and collaboration with reputable external suppliers Setar Holdings (Pty) Ltd now boasts of the widest range of RICE amongst all its product lines.
The Setar rice range range of rice includes PARBOILED, FRAGRANT, JASMINE, CALROSE, JAPONICA, BASIMATI and WHITE RICE.
In keeping with its consistently expanding product lines, rice is the latest addition Setar’s range of products.
In South Africa, rice is a wholly imported commodity. We source our rice from, inter alia, Thailand, India, China and Brazil. We have a number of our own brands but also import “house brands” for our larger retail and wholesale customers
