Lamy Cosmetics was established in March 1976 by Dong A Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Korea's largest pharmaceutical company
Dong A Pharmaceutical advanced into cosmetics business with a firm belief for success counting on the company's 40 years of experience and technology which could be grafted to manufacturing essential beauty products.
The company name was decided by public subscription and Lamy in Chinese (means 'outstretching your beauty', or in French as a compound word La + ami, the name means 'friend' and 'my beauty'.
Lamy Cosmetics since its establishment in 1976 has been continuously developing quality beauty products and receives loyal support and love from many customers.Under the company's basic ideology 'Produce superior quality cosmetics and contribute to human beauty and well-being', Lamy Cosmetics has been concentrating our efforts to develop safe and high-quality cosmetics.
Lamy Cosmetics has been approved by the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) early in the 1980's of our efforts to create only the safest and quality beauty products.At the time, Lamybelle products were tested and passed of all 5 tests by the FDA and for the first time in the history of Korean cosmetics, Lamy acquired international approval by the FDA.The company's past achievements can be accredited to its holding company Dong A Pharmaceutical and for their time-tested medical research and know-how as all products produced by Lamy are developed based on the physiological studies of the skin by Dong A Pharmaceutical.Lamy Cosmetics produces various lines of beauty products such as skincare, make-up, male skincare, hair products, fragrance, body products, and infant products to meet with our customers' various needs.
