Established in 2003, Spina Systems Co. Ltd. (also referred as 'Spina' hereinafter) develops and supplies home network system and media players using the latest technologies and through continuous improvement of product quality. Led by capable and well-experienced management team, Spina faces a rapidly growing large-volume target market with great opportunities for diversification of final product models and the company's sales growth accordingly. All of Spina products are developed in-house by the company's highly qualified R& D staff with abundant experience in the industry.
The company has core technologies which provide cost-effective embedded system design technologies. Spina's range of technologies cover sensor network, digital image processing, multimedia encoding / decoding, gateway, video stream processing, etc.
Spina's R& D team is continuously accumulating knowledge in hardware architecture design, device driver, firmware and software application. Spina has successfully completed numerous government projects and has carried out co-operative R& D projects with national research institutes such as ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) and KETI (Korean Electronics Technology Institute) in Korea. Samsung is also in development partnership with Spina for their world-famous futuristic home network system.
