GRUPO VOLTRAILER was founded in 1993 with private capital, and only one goal: meet the demand of semi trailers in aluminium and special wear steel what Spanish transport market needs at long-term. At that time, the production was 10 units per year, because an important part of the company was the trailer mechanical repair and the brake blocking systems installation. All of that was responsibility of six persons. Today GRUPO VOLTRAILER have in direct an indirect staff close to 150 persons, carrying out a production process near to 1, 000 units per year focussed on tipper trailer and semi trailers manufacturing. Aluminium and wear steel are the only raw materials used in the production and also using this technology in the new products generation. This is the Dumpers, the novelty in the GRUPO VOLTRAILER catalogue during this year.
Concerns created in Board of Directors of our company, did possible become recognized in the foreign trade where we are commercialising up to 10% of our production, and even we are manufacturing an important part aside for the Caribbean Countries, where we have a delegation and a factory with complete autonomy.
Global philosophy of GRUPO VOLTRAILER is based since beginning in quality, product and costumer satisfaction, the three mainstays in our company development in this short time period. This structure sited a precedent getting us as first national trailer manufacturer in aluminium and wear steel tipper body trailers.
