George Steuart (Teas & Marketing) is a fully owned subsidiary of George Steuart Group of companies. The wholly owned subsidiary was established in 1980 and later with the addition of the marketing department in 1982 it was renamed as George Steuart (Teas & Marketing) (Pvt) Ltd.
George Steuart & Co Ltd. Is also the oldest member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Our organization has been associated with tea for well over a century in fact from the very inception of the industry in Sri Lanka (Ceylon)
George Steuart (Teas & Marketing) (Pvt) Ltd exports Black Tea, Green Tea and Herbal Teas in Bulk, Packets and Tea Bags to the international market. Presently a large percentage of tea exports are to the CIS Countries, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Syria, Philippines, Taiwan, Macedonia, West Africa and Japan. The company not only markets Tea under its own brand 'Steuarts' but also packs for leading importers, the world over under their brand names. It handles a wide range of value added products (packets, bags, metal caddies, Albizzia boxes, etc.) amounting to over one hundred different items.
