Introduction

Traditionally, thai people used a variety of herbs to cure many symptoms, as these herbal combinations had natural medicinal properties valuable in reducing body aches and pains, muscular sprains and even menstrual cramps. The herbs were collected and combined into sheet-cloth compress bags, then steamed for 15 minutes and applied to the problem area of the body for pain relief.
