UNIFO FOOD IND.&TRADE CO. UNIFO Food Industry & Trading Company is a subsidiary company of Uyar Group and was founded in early 1997 for producing high quality Meals-Ready-To-Eat (MREs) packed into pouches and aluminum trays for military and civil purpose.The mission of Unifo is to produce high-tech top quality products and become one of the key players of the food market in Fast Mover Consumer Goods (FMCG) & Military.Unifo operates in conformance with ISO 9001 Quality Standard and gives priority to the satisfaction, health and safety of its consumer. Industrial Systems in compliance with the CE brands are used during the production process of the Meals Ready to Eat and produced without any hand touch. All products are produced in accordance with the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements. The MREs production and packaging plant is built on a field of nearly 8000 m2 which covers 7500 m2 closed and 4750 m2 open area in Turkey. Unifo produces the goods while maintaining general product quality by using High Temperature Short Time (HTST) and Packaging in Modified Atmosphere (MAP) technologies in which cold chain applications are eliminated and shlef-life is extended. To ensure high quality products, physical, microbiological, chemical and organoleptical analysis are performed by high-tech equipped Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department. The most important asset of a Unifo is that "No Additives" are used in our products. The meat Unifo uses in products does not contain pork meat and lard.
