Early founded in 1978 as a small trading establishment in Eminonu, the firm made a decision to pursue manufacturing as a company, 'Akal Trade and Textile Industry Limited Company', in 1989. The head office of Akal Textile, with a showroom exists in Eminonu Mercan, and its production center locates in Uskudar Cengelkoy. With its modern designed and integrated production line, Akal Textile has a capacity to produce 100. 000 berets, 50. 000 scarves, 75. 000 gloves and 120. 000 hats per month; if necessary, its production capacity can be increased% 50 by adding the supplementary production plants.
