In water transport (sea crafts and river boats) Ni-Cd batteries 5KPL55, 5KPL80 and 5KPL125 are used for power supply of direct current of communications facilities, lighting, instruments and electric equipment, which are located on board of a ship.

In electric urban transport the KPL125 accumulators are used for direct current power supply of electrical equipment of trolley-buses, trams and transit vehicles.

Ni-Fe (FM-250, FM-300, FM-350, FM-330, FM-500) and Ni-Cd (KM-300) accumulators are designed for power supply of electric motors of floor-type trackless electric vehicles (electric cars, electro trucks, ladders).
Coal mining industry.
In coal mining industry the alkaline Ni-Cd and Ni-Fe accumulators are used for power supply of electric motors of accumulator mine electric locomotives (FM-350, KM-350, FM-400, FM-500, FM-550).
