United Agencies is a successful, family-run trading house dealing in all kinds of construction materials to meet a wide range of specifications and demand all over the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA). Established in 1961, the company has been based in Dubai since the very beginning, and is supported by sister company PVS International (with branches in Singapore and India and China).
In the last 15 years, the company has concentrated solely on the wood business handling imports from around the world to be sold in the MENA region. Proud of their timber background - a history of traditional traders balanced by an investment in people, in new technology, quality control and lasting relationships with trade clients has brought the business to the scale it is today.
Each office around the world is responsible for sourcing, with all the sales handled by Dubai. Products include a variety of sawn timbers from around the world as well as a large number of panel products which aide in building construction. Regular trips are made to the sawmills, plywood mills to source new products and keep abrest of latest improvements in quality, style. This knowledge of the products is passed on to our customers in the MENA region.
As traditional timber merchants, we are able to supply customers' requirements in timbers and panel products in various different qualities, sizes and specifications. Depending on quality requirements of the customer, we can cater fresh parcels according to the grading system of the sourcing countrry of the products.
