What is Coil Coating?

What we do

During the coil coating process a coil of substrate is unwound, cleaned, chemically treated, primed, cured, top coated, cured again, embossed and recoiled ready for the next stage of the production process where it is profiled. The whole process is automated and computer controlled ensuring that the product continually meets specified tolerances. This means our products last longer - however and wherever they're used. Our guarantee is the most comprehensive around.

Unique service

Coilcolor is the only company in Europe to offer a 'toll coating' service. Toll coating means you can specify smaller quantities in various finishes whenever your project dictates.

With toll coating, you purchase your own substrate. As you can imagine, we buy quite a lot of it ourselves, so we help you get the best possible price. We then store it for you until you want it. You call off as much or as little of each finish as and when you need it.

Toll coating gives you a unit cost that in the past was only available with larger orders. Add to that the flexibility to optimise warehousing, scheduling and delivery and you can see how toll coating gets projects completed on time and on budget.
