Dance Orientale

This mother daughter team, originally from South Africa and now settled in Roswell GA, USA have combined their strengths and talent to run a business that has been described as a breath of fresh air.
Known as Zaia Hadiyyah and Hamila, this motherdaughter team promotes education in Middle Eastern dance, culture, music, and costuming.
Their company Dance Orientale and Belly Fitness focuses on the enhancement of the physical, emotional, and social well-being of women in the community.
Zaia (founder) does this through Folkloric and Cabaret style belly dance. Zaia is a lifelong dancer and has embraced Oriental Dance for 15 plus years. She combines her dance knowledge with a long career as a Human Resources Executive. Zaia has done intense training in the Middle East, South Africa, and the USA with acclaimed and respected teachers, like Mahmoud Reda.
Zaia owns two schools in the US, but travels to various countries regularly as a professional performer and choreographer. Zaia also directs a professional performance group and has participated in International Belly Dance Festivals in Europe, Egypt, and South Africa. Hamila trained as a ballerina in the Cechetti method and has performed and taught ballet master classes as well as coached gymnasts. Hamila brings together the world of 36 years of dance and her profession as an I/O Psychologist and OD Executive to help the
dancers understand the connection between body/ mind and life/work. Hamila teaches the basics in belly dance, core strength training and specializes in Ballet for Belly. Hamila also works specifically with moms who have
little ones in a special format.
