Midwest Hardwood Corporation is a large provider of North American logs, hardwood lumber and value-added hardwood products such as ripped-to-width lumber, flooring strips and lamellas. Our key species are Black Walnut, Hard Maple, White Oak, Red Oak, Cherry, Ash, and Yellow Poplar. We have been FSC certified since 1995 and our entire operation is FSC Certified under our multi-site certification certificate (SW-COC-00008). We understand forestry, sawing, kiln drying and providing custom solutions better than most US hardwood manufacturers. Our operations can saw for specific widths, then dry lumber flat and stress relieved for sawing face veneers. In strips, we are the only US manufacturer sawing to the European thickness of 30mm green, which makes for a huge yield advantage for 3-strip flooring manufacturers. We produce over 235,000m3 annually from our company-owned sawmills. We are also experienced exporters as we ship over 100 containers per month around the world.
