Lightspeed Technologies Inc.

We are a startup, though the principals of the management team have been together in several previous entrepreneural ventures. This company is the main holding company for all technologies, intellectual properties, licensing, trademarks, patents, etc., which are developed by the technical staff and engineering departments: marketing, manufacturing, support, sales, etc., will be handled by subsidiary companies better structured to handle those tasks, thus avoiding the pitfalls of having entrepreneurs try to be all things for the company, rather than letting the experts in various functions do the work, so the entrepreneurs can concentrate on future product development, etc.
We do not show very high sales or many employees yet, because we are still getting our flagship products ready for the marketplace, and we have not announced them or sold any. Our sales so far have come from outside work such as consulting, purpose-built designs for customers which do not sell in volume, software, networking and data encryption, etc. Once we announce our product line later in 2007 and early in 2008 (hopefully, we will catch the holiday and COMDEX markets, but we are not 100% certain we can do that yet. . . ) , we expect sales to grow very, very rapidly; our optimism has been verified by several experts who have examined the products and pronounced them "revolutionary", "a slam dunk", and various other phrases meant to say they think we have a winner!
We are excited about our newest products, which will have a very big, and very positive, impact on the internet and other networks, communications systems, phone systems, and all systems which use digital data sent and received via bandwidth limited channels. I cannot reveal what it is yet, as patents are still pending, and I don't want to risk voiding them by announcing products early.
We also have done contract engineering for various small companies, consulting on networks, security, encryption, and so on. We have sold over 100, 000 individual products in our previous companies, however, we expect Lightspeed Technologies to exceed that by at least an order of magnitude!
Of course, if I were writing this for a public company, I would have to caution you that all statements are to be considered tentative, blue sky projections, and that the company may fail if the products are not successful in the marketplace, and so forth. But you probably already know that. . . .
Having started up several companies over the past 30 years, I believe I know what success looks like, and also, how failure can happen to the best of us. Lightspeed looks like success to me, and I hope we will be able to establish good working relationships with companies here on Alibaba
When we need to ramp up in a hurry, and produce large volumes of our products at prices which will allow us to offer them to customers at a price which will encourage them to accept our products and implement them in their data systems, whatever and wherever they may be in their companies.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University; I graduated in 1978. I have worked for some of the best electronics companies, but most of my experience has come from starting up and managing small companies, designing, developing and marketing new products for those companies. I look forward with anticipation to making Lightspeed the company that grows into a major technical player in the data communications and computer peripherals markets.
