Our generators are driven by Vortex Turbine Drive and designed to operate utilizing FLEX-FUEL. Our turbine drives accept FLEX FUEL design and engineered to run on hydrogen gas. System consists of: 1 - Helios Series Fuel Generator On site Hydrogen production/refinery system, 1- Vortex Turbine drive 1- alternator head of a predetermined 60KW outputThe Halo Turbines Power Generators are naturally flexfuel turbine driven power generators capable of being standalone crtitcal load power source or standby power source.The system will seamlessly switch to utility power or backup power as the backup in the unlikely event that the microturbines are not able to support the load.Units include but are not limited to Onboard Programmable Controller - data collection/studies, communications. sensors, alarm ,reports, test results, spec updates, discussions, think tank, 24/7 monitoring.The Helios Series Fuel Generator On site Hydrogen production/refinery system which is designed as an LPG low pressure gas delivery system which will provide the fuel for the turbine engine. The Turbines metallurgic properties have been designed to withstand the increased heat temperatures which in hydrogen fuel ignition will burn at. We have redesigned, and fortified the interior combustion tubes, chamber bearings, shafts, turbine blades and other key components utilizing super alloys. The Helios Series Fuel Generator is a separate Hydrogen fuel generator capable of providing gas for heating, cooking, sterilization, and or fueling one LPG turbine or a group of LPG turbines. A optional hydrogen compressor can be installed inline to increase PSI as required by larger more complex applications and/ or configurations. The Helios fuel generator can be connected to a number of different water reservoirs and / or offer water delivery connection options depending on your needs or requirements.The Halo Turbine Power Generator does not require a hydrogen tank or storage of hydrogen on the premises for the startup, or the continuous operation of the Turbine or Turbines. It is optional to have a fuel storage tank for starting up the turbine. The Halo can be built with a second turbine for redundancy in the event of maintenance, or service. One turbine could be down for service while the second turbine drives the generator. The Halo Turbine Power Generators can be grouped to provide you more KW power.The Vortex turbine drive is connected to generator via high speed input Gear reduction box to reduce RPM to the necessary 50Hz or 60Hz (16,000RPM to 24,000RPM) desired Electric Power Frequencies in order to conform to regional standards. Turbines have several advantages over piston-engines:They are smaller and lighter-weight for a given horsepower. They are much more efficient - more of the energy of the fuel can be turned into usable power. They are much cleaner burning, producing less NOx because they can run on hydrogen. They are naturally flex-fuel. Turbines are usually optimized for one particular fuel they are generally much less fuel sensitive than piston-engines, making flex-fuel designs easy to implement. They are easier to maintain and much more reliable than internal combustion engines. They run quieter than a standard attenuated diesel engine generator.They can be fitted with optional waste heat recovery unit called recuperators for additional power, heating, or cooling through thermal heat generation. As in most fuel fired equipment a large amount of heat is wasted as exhaust. At this point the heat from the exhaust still holds considerable thermal energy for steam generation, or water heating. Waste heat recovery should generally be considered only if the exhaust temperatures exceed 1000 degree F. We accomplish this by a process called cogeneration, and trigenration.
