Universal taste was created in 2000 with the intention of importing 100% fruit pulp based products into the united states. President and founder gill moreira, a brazilian native, started researching the acai fruit, know by the world as "the milk of the amazon" years before creating the company, by traveling to northern brazil where the fruit is cultivated and seeing its enormous health benifits.
