N. B. Handy Company was founded in 1891, by Mr. Nathan B. Handy. Through the early 1900's, World War I, and the Great Depression, N. B. Handy Company continued to grow, becoming a regional supplier electronics through much of western Virginia, West Virginia, western North Carolina and Europe.
