Founded in 1976 as a firm specializing in telecommunications power supply systems, dongah elecomm offers all types of product solutions, including converters, rectifiers, board-mounted power modules and remote monitoring systems.
A leader in the telecommunications industry, we have developed and supplied all types of embedded power products for asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching systems, CDMA mobile communication systems (both cellular and pcs) , and for imt-2000' global mobile telecommunications standards. One of our key achievements was the developement of products to support the nationwide tdx program for the korean electronic switching system. Our current research and developement includes special equipment. Medical equipment and power management systems.
In Korea, dongah elecomm supplies 85% fo the market demand for power systems for data communication services. Our power supply products bring communications to 50 million users of wireline and wireless services worldwide. Dongah elecomm developed the dc / dc converter for sp-30, the Chinese electronic switching sytem. Vietnam post and telecommunications have designated dongah power systems as teh national standard. Our power supplies were crucial to australia's CDMA mobile communications system during the xxvii olympics, and they continue to operate smoothly.
Dongah elecomm maintains product design, manufacturing and support locations in key regions throughout the world to assist our customers in more than 40 countries. Our locations are networked to facilitate communication between facilities, enabling developement of customer programs in mulitple locations quickly and effectively. The approach allows dongah to provide regional design and support services combined with cost effective manufacturing. Our customer receive the leading edge technologies they require in less time at reduced cost.
